As a dynamic and highly motivated research group, the main concern of the Ucuncu Research Group members is to provide worthwhile contributions to the scientific area of organic chemistry and chemical biology. The group mainly focused on the potodynamic therapy (PDT), optical cell imaging and design & synthesis of fluorescent “smart probes” for anions and cations as well as biologically important species of which collaboration with microbiology and tissue engineering has a great impact in life science applications.
